About
Mobile Wheelchair Services is a new start company
that has been set up to provide a clinically lead Wheelchair and
Specialist Seating service that exceeds the expectations of wheelchair
users, carers, healthcare professionals and service commissioners.
Born out of the experiences and frustrations of
turning around the failing services of other clinical wheelchair service
providers, the Mobile Wheelchair Services concept and philosophy was
created.
As a direct result of listening to the service user
community, we designed a service model that will deliver:

meet the requirements of the Care Quality Commission

around continued professional development

Greater service availability to fit in
with the lives and work patterns of the user community

12 Hours per day of service provision (08:00 to 20:00)

6 Days per week of service availability (Monday to Saturday)

24 Hours a day for referral registration

Urgent / Emergency cover (Sunday)

Continued care is provided in the format
of individual care plans for every user

Hub and spoke service model designed to
deliver a high quality, highly efficient service
· Greater convenience because our fleet of vehicles enable us to provide services to users in their own homes
· All services provided in-house (approved repairer, returns, delivery, specialist seating, clinical and rehabilitation assessments) to ensure consistency and reliability for service users and key stakeholders
